1. In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal and walnuts. Set aside.
2. Drizzle butter over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
3. Bake at 250°F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Mix in apples. Spread on paper towels. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
Halloween Crunch: Prepare as above, except substitute peanuts for walnuts and stir in 1/2 cup candy corn along with apples.
