Dwight Phillips "Feeds his Positives" Breakfast

Dwight tells everybody, “Starve your negatives and feed your positives.” And that’s just what he does every morning. He feeds his optimism, potential and success a great breakfast.

As Dwight says, breakfast is very important to him because he trains early in the morning and a good morning meal helps give him the energy to get through a workout. He enjoys Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes®, Eggo®  waffles and Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain® Bars. He also loves eating Rice Krispies® with his 4 and 5-year-old sons.

Dwight believes rest, recovery and nutrition are three important factors that all athletes should take seriously if they want to maximize their potential.

For Dwight, Great Starts Are What
You Make of Them

“At age eight, I started running cross-country. I enjoyed the individualism of it and understanding that whatever I put in is more or less what I’m going to get out of it.” — Dwight Phillips

Long regarded as a “big event performer,” Dwight recently became just the second man in history to win four world titles in men’s long jump when he took gold at the 2011 World Outdoor Track and Field Championships. When he is not training or competing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
