Jordyn Starts with
the Power of Breakfast

“If you don’t enjoy [your sport], there’s really no point.” That’s how Jordyn Wieber sees it. Her success is fueled by many things and two in particular: her love of gymnastics and great nutrition.

Because her workouts often start early in the morning, Jordyn says breakfast is the most important meal for her. She never misses it, usually starting her day with a bowl of cereal and milk. It gives her nutrients and energy for her daily workouts.

With three siblings, Jordyn’s family always has a pantry full of Kellogg’s® foods. A few of her favorites include Kellogg’s® Crunchy Nut™  and Special K® cereals. She also likes to have Cracklin’ Oat Bran® cereal as a snack during the day.

For Jordyn, Great Starts Spark Great Goals

“When I saw the Olympics [Games] on TV in 2004, that was the moment I realized I really wanted to make the team and go all the way.” — Jordyn Wieber

She has been a standout competitor ever since her parents enrolled her in a community gymnastics class at age 4. Jordyn hopes to continue her recent success by earning a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team in London.
