Do Mini Wheats Have Pork Gelatin?

Q: What kind of gelatin do you use in Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats? 

A: Gelatin may be used in some foods to improve the texture.  In the U.S., the gelatin used in Frosted Mini-Wheats is derived from beef.   

You may be interested to know that gelatin derived from pork is found in the following U.S. foods: 

Kellogg’s® cereals that contain marshmallow additives, such as Kellogg’s® Marshmallow Froot Loops cereal 

Gelatin derived from beef is found in the following U.S. foods: 

•All varieties of Kellogg’s® Frosted Pop-Tarts® Bites

•All varieties of Kellogg’s® Frosted Mini-Wheats® cereal
