Kellogg to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its facilities

We have a longstanding commitment to sustainability and a deep connection to the places our foods come from. And climate change is a core issue for us – science shows it will threaten the world’s food production capabilities at a time when we will need to feed more people than ever before. So we’re announcing new, ambitious science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets: 65% less in our facilities by 2050. We recognize that real leadership doesn’t mean cutting our emissions and stopping there, so we’re going to work with our suppliers to also reduce their emissions 50% by 2050. This will help ensure the long-term health of the ingredients we use in the foods our consumers love and trust – and help keep the communities we call home healthy.
